Shamkan Rural District (Persian: دهستان شامكان) is a rural district (dehestan) in Sheshtomad District, Sabzevar County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,947, in 1,453 families.[1] The rural district has 7 villages.
