Shalini Passi is an Indian Arts Patron, philanthropist, artist and art collector based in Delhi.[2][3]

Passi held a well-received exhibition entitled 'The Warp and Weft of Perception'[4] and a solo art exhibition of paintings titled "Through my Eyes" at the Visual Arts Gallery in New Delhi.[5]

Her art collection includes works by Indian contemporary artists including Riyas Komu,[6] M. F. Husain[3] Anita Dube,[7] Zarina Hashmi, Subodh Gupta,[8] and Atul Dodiya, and Bharti Kher[6] as well as international artists including Jeff Koons,[1] Damien Hirst, and Vladimir Kagan.[9]

Passi is the Creative Director of Pasco group of companies.[10]

Philanthropy

Since 2010, Passi has been actively involved in educating underprivileged children in Delhi, through a series of workshops that provide opportunities for them to learn about the arts and crafts with skilled individuals. She supports and donates for "The Delhi Society for the Welfare of Special Children".[4]

Passi is a member of the Advisory Board of Khoj (the not-for-profit contemporary arts organisation based in Delhi),[11] which facilitates and supports the development of experimental contemporary art practice in India and South Asia. She is also a Patron of FICA (Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art) and an important Patron of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.[5]

In 2018, Passi started her own foundation, the Shalini Passi Art Foundation, and MASH[12] which explores the intersection of the arts and promotes emerging artists in India.[4]
