Nawab Shah Alam Khan was an industrialist, educationist and cultural connoisseur from Hyderabad, India. He was the founder of the Hyderabad Deccan Cigarette Factory, which was estabilished during the reign of the last Nizam in 1921. He was also the chairman of the Sultan Anwar ul Uloom Educational Society.

He was also a member of Board of Management and Academic Senate of Osmania University.[1]

He died on October 23, 2017, and is survived by seven sons.[2][3][4]

His son Mehboob Alam Khan, who currently owns the Hyderabad Deccan Cigarette Factory, is a well known restaurateur.[5]
