History

Founded in 2009 in Seattle, Washington, as AllSeniorHomes.com,[1] the company changed its name to SeniorHomes.com in April 2010.[2] Originally the site focused on marketing senior living communities located on the West Coast, but now SeniorHomes.com provides referral services for senior living communities across the nation.

In 2014, SeniorHomes.com was recognized by Inc.com as one of the ten fastest growing companies in Seattle.[3]

Bankrate acquired SeniorHomes.com in 2015,[4][5] before which it operated primarily on multiple rounds of venture capital funding.[6][7]

SeniorHomes.com is now partnered with Caring.com as part of the Bankrate family of websites.[8]
