Semyon Gudzenko
Semyon Gudzenko, 1951
Semyon Petrovich Gudzenko (Russian: Семён Петрович Гудзенко) (born Sario Gudzenko; 3 May 1922 in Kyiv – 2 December 1953 in Moscow) was a Soviet Russian poet of Ukrainian-Jewish origin, of the World War II generation.[1] He is often compared with Pavel Kogan and Semen Kirsanov.[2]
He died from old war wounds as he himself predicted in one of his own poems.
