Seminole State College (formerly Seminole Junior College) is a state-supported community college in Seminole, Oklahoma, United States.
History
The college was founded as Seminole Junior College in 1931 and was renamed Seminole State College in 1996.[1]
Campus
The campus is in Seminole, Oklahoma at the junction of Highway 9 W and U.S. Route 270.
Organization and administration
The college president is Lana Reynolds. A lifelong resident of the Seminole, Oklahoma area, Reynolds began as Director of Public Relations for the college in 1987. She is a 1981 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. She was named an Outstanding Alumna of her alma mater in 2017. [2]

The college provides one and two-year programs of collegiate-level technical-occupational education.

The college athletics teams are nicknamed the Trojans. The head men's basketball coach is Don Tuley.

- Jimmy Youngblood, former pro wrestler, played minor league baseball in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
- Éric Gagné, MLB player, Cy Young Award winner in 2003, closer for the Los Angeles Dodgers
- Ryan Franklin, Former professional baseball player
- Evan Gattis, MLB player, designated hitter, catcher, and left fielder for the Houston Astros.
- Simone Edwards, WNBA player, forward center, and first Kodak All-American in Seminole's school history.
