Selania capparidana is a moth of the Tortricidae family. It was described by Zeller in 1847. It is found in Spain, Sardinia, Italy and Greece.[2]
The wingspan is 9–10 mm.
The larvae feed on Capparis spinosa. They may mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a full-depth corridor, which later becomes more blotch-like. A single larva makes several mines. Pupation takes place outside of the mine. Larvae of the summer generation feed in the shoots, buds and fruits of their host plant.[3]
