Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is the feature film soundtrack of the 2013 family-drama film of the same name starring Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Anjali and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film's music was composed by Mickey J Meyer marking his second collaboration with Srikanth Addala while Mani Sharma provided the Re-Recording and Background Score for the film. The soundtrack consists of 7 songs all composed by Mickey J Meyer and Sirivennela Sitaramasastri and Anantha Sreeram penning the lyrics. Being recorded in time ranging 2012, the soundtrack album's release coincided with a promotional audio launch function on December 16, 2012 at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda in Hyderabad on Aditya Music label. The audio received positive response from critics and audience alike.

Production

Srikanth Addala roped in Mickey J Meyer to compose the music for this film marking his second collaboration with him after Kotha Bangaru Lokam in 2008. Anantha Sreeram and Sirivennela Sitaramasastri were said to pen lyrics for all the songs in the album. In June 2012, it was announced that the audio rights of the film were sold to Aditya Music.[1] Promo of the first song penned by Anantha Sreeram and sung by Chitra was released on May 31, 2012. That single track which happened to be a small bit of the Title song received viral response from the audience.[2] On December 6, 2012 the song Inka Cheppale was filmed on Mahesh Babu and Samantha at Magarpatta in Pune.[3][4] The last song Vaana Chinukulu was filmed from December 18 to December 21 on Venkatesh and Anjali in Kerala.[5] While the shooting commenced, A thirty seconds promo of "Aaraduguluntada" song was released officially through Red FM 93.5 on December 12, 2012.[6] All the seven promo songs were officially released by Aditya Music through their Facebook page on December 14, 2012.[7] The audio launch of the film was held at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad on December 16, 2012 and audio of the film was released on the same day.[8] Venkatesh's son Arjun and Mahesh Babu's son Gautham, who were brought on stage by Mahesh Babu's wife Namratha, had a superb reception from crowd, who welcomed them with lots of cheers. Arjun unveiled the audio album CD and handed over the first copy to Gautham.[9] Later, the triple platinum disc function of the film was held on January 20, 2013 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad to which the whole unit attended admist high fanfare.[10]
