Sebastian Martin

Sebastian Martin (also known as Healer Baba by media)[1] was a controversial faith healer who claimed to cure all ailments through Jesus, including HIV, cancer, kidney, heart and other diseases through miracles.

He founded the Ashirward Prayer Centre as a venue for faith healing. Murdered rationalist Narendra Dabholkar had filed a police complaint against Sebastian and his associates for practicing alleged black magic.[2] and police had closed down the prayer center for its alleged black magic activities.

Sebastian shot to fame after his videos of ‘healing patients’ went viral on YouTube and other social media platforms.[1][3]

Sebastian, a severe diabetic patient, died on 17 August 2016 at Bhuigaon after a prolonged illness. Some critics wrote articles about him stating that if he could heal others, why couldn't he heal himself.
