Personal life

Stone was born in New York City, New York, United States. He converted to Shia Islam in 2012.[1][2][3][4][5][6] In an interview with CNN, Stone said that he accepted Muhammad as the seal of the prophets.[12][13] In an interview with Bill O'Reilly, he added Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statements about Israel had been misunderstood.[1][6]

Stone sits on the Board of Advisors for the company MindShare Ventures Group based in New York City. The company is involved in several business areas, including entertainment, commodities, healthcare, real estate, tech and venture capital. He was invited to the Board in 2013 by Founder and Chairman, Ali Naqvi.[14]
