Scott Andrew Burgess (born 12 August 1997) is an English footballer and plays as a midfielder for Wrexham, on loan from Bury.
Career
Burgess came through the youth system of Bury. In the 2013–14 season he played in every youth team game, making 28 appearances as the side reached the Lancashire FA Senior Cup final.[3] He made his professional debut in May 2014 in the 0–0 draw with Morecambe, and was replaced by Marcus Poscha in the second half.
In September 2015, he was loaned out for one month to Stalybridge Celtic of the National League North, the sixth tier of English football,[4] and in March 2016 he was loaned out to Bergsøy of 3. Divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, until 3 July 2016.[5]
In December 2016 Burgess became a first team regular under Chris Brass and Ryan Kidd. At the start of 2017/18 he was sent out on a loan spell to Macclesfield Town for a season
In August 2018, he joined Wrexham on a six-month loan deal.[6]
