Scientist Supreme is a name used by different fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.

Description

The Scientist Supreme is often described to be the top leader of A.I.M., and can also be described to be the scientific counterpart to Earth's Sorcerer Supreme.

Yandroth

Yandroth was the humanoid Scientist Supreme of the otherdimensional planet Yann, and a counterpart to Doctor Strange's title of Sorcerer Supreme.[1]

George Clinton was the second individual to use the Scientist Supreme persona within AIM. Clinton provided the Red Skull, Armin Zola and Hate-Monger with a restored version of Cosmic Cube, however, gets his mind drained (along with many others) by the three supervillains as a power source for the very device he helped restore.[3]

Valdemar Tykkio was the third individual to use the Scientist Supreme persona within AIM.[4] Valdemar had occasional encounters with Iron Man while dealing with his brother Yorgon Tykkio trying to take his coveted position.[5]

A fourth individual had used the Scientist Supreme persona within AIM. This Scientist Supreme had a deal with Hydra to eliminate Madame Masque, resulting in a confrontation with Iron Man and the Hulk.[6]

Monica Rappaccini

Monica Rappaccini is the fifth individual to use the Scientist Supreme alias within AIM.[7]

Hank Pym

At one point, Hank Pym grew to a large enough size where he encountered the cosmic entity Eternity, claiming to the former that he is Earth's "Scientist Supreme".[8] When Hank Pym told Loki about this, the trickster god claims he was using the Eternity's form in order to trick the so-called Scientist Supreme. Hank Pym disputed Loki's explanation. Whether or not it was indeed Loki-in-disguise has not been answered. [9]

Andrew Forson

Andrew Forson is the sixth individual to use the Scientist Supreme alias within AIM.[10]

Television

  • The A.I.M. Scientist Supreme appears in Iron Man: Armored Adventures. In the episode "Ready, A.I.M., Fire", he was shown to be among the A.I.M. agents working on MODOK.
  • Two different versions of A.I.M. Scientist Supreme appears on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, voiced by Nolan North (first iteration),[11] and by Kyle Hebert (Lyle Getz).[12] The first version that is seen comes off as the unknown iteration. The second iteration is the creator of satellite weapons that could destroy all life. In "Breakout" Pt. 1, the unidentified Scientist Supreme has a deal with Lucia von Bardas (on Doctor Doom's behalf) which gets interrupted by Iron Man (Tony Stark). He gets transferred to the Vault only just when the prison breakouts occur, escaping alongside other villains. In "Alone Against A.I.M", the Scientist Supreme gets his revenge by unleashing Technovore within Stark Industries. He also holds Pepper Potts hostage until he's defeated by the Avengers. In "Prisoner of War", Getz is captured and replaced by a Skrull impersonator. Although imprisoned, he assists Captain America (Steve Rogers) and other captured individuals (Invisible Woman, Cobra, Madame Hydra, Clay Quartermain and Henry Peter Gyrich) in escaping from the Skrulls' custody and the Super-Skrull. In "Secret Invasion", Getz's Skrull imposter uses his satellites when Veranke's invasion wasn't in the Skrulls' favor, however, Getz's satellites were destroyed by Thor and his Skrull imposter is arrested by S.W.O.R.D. agents.
  • An amalgamated iteration of A.I.M. Scientist Supreme appears in Avengers: Ultron Revolution, voiced by Jim Meskimen.[13] This version has George Clinton's appearance, Valdemar Tykkio's accent and Andrew Forson's attire. In the episode "Adapting to Change", the Scientist Supreme has three advanced Adaptoids fight the Avengers. The Scientist Supreme then merges with the three Adaptoids to be the Supreme Adaptoid, resulting in a more challenging fight but eventually ends up defeated by the Avengers. However, Ultron's salvaged duplicate absorbs his Adaptoid remains, presumably killing him in the process.
  • The Monica Rappaccini version of Scientist Supreme appears in the Spider-Man animated series, voiced by Grey DeLisle.[14]

Video games

  • A version of A.I.M's Scientist Supreme appears in Marvel Avengers Academy. While he is the leader of A.I.M., he is also headmaster of the A.I.M. Institute of Super-Technology.
  • The Monica Rappaccini version of Scientist Supreme appears in Marvel Powers United VR, voiced by Jennifer Hale.[15]
