Schwartziella is a genus of minute sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks or micromollusks in the family Rissoinidae.[2]

The generic name Schwartziella is in honor of Gustav Franziskus Maria Schwartz von Mohrenstern.[1]

Distribution

Schwartziella are mostly founded in the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico, the most numerous are founded within the shores of Cape Verde, several of these has been recently discovered. Other Schwartziella species are also founded in the Indian Ocean and off the coast of New Zealand.
