School Wiki is an encyclopaedia of over 15,000 schools in Kerala, India. The site is launched in 2009. School Wiki gives details regarding schools’ elementary data, historical references, infrastructure, renowned Alumni, School websites, School Map, Blogs, Class Magazines, supporting images and videos.It has over 30,997 articles and 13,000 users. The initiative is run by KITE(Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education). School wiki modelling on the Wikipedia to foster a culture of collaborative learning in schools in the State.
School Wiki has won many awards over the years, including the Stockholm Challenge Award in 2010[1] and Social Media for Empowerment Award in 2017.
