Modern College of Design

The Modern College of Design is a private 2-year graphic design college in Kettering, Ohio. Founded in 1984 by advertising artist Tim Potter, the college trains creative artists to become professional graphic designers, and web designers.

The Modern College of Design faculty is made up of professional graphic designers and artists that includes CLIO Award winners, Hermes / Gold ADDY winners, American Advertising Federation Silver Medal recipients, Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) gold award winners, and presidents/owners of design companies.

As it is a graphic design college, all students are required to use their own Apple laptop computers using the leading provided computer graphics software, such as Adobe Systems's Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign. The Modern also instructs students on using animation and 3D rendering software like Cinema 4D.
