Saygin Yalcin
Saygin Yalcin (in Turkish Saygın Yalçın,[1] born in Bremen, Germany on 14 May 1985) is a German entrepreneur and businessman of Turkish origin. Based in Dubai, his businesses are mainly in marketing and online merchandising.[1][2]
Saygin was born to Turkish parents who had immigrated to Germany and resided in Bremen.[3] He studied in Germany and later in the United States and Mexico. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany. He was a skilled footballer who played in German junior league A-Junioren Bundesliga.[3]
He first started a business in Germany. Later he moved to United Arab Emirates founding Sukar.com. After selling it to souq.com, he later established sellanycar.com.[4][5] becoming its CEO.[2][6] He is also well known in social media.[2] He is a visiting instructor on entrepreneurship in Canadian University of Dubai.[7] His YouTube channel produces the show Startup Hero where selected viewers pitch their idea to Yalcin and other investors for funding.[8][9]
