Sayeed Shahidi (born February 14, 2003) is an American child actor and model.[1]
Life and work
Shahidi was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to mixed African American and Native Choctaw[2] mother, Keri Salter Shahidi and Iranian American father, Afshin Shahidi.[2] He lived in St. Paul, Minnesota until age two, then moved to Glendale, California.[3] Shahidi is an Iranian name meaning "Blessing".[4] He is the middle child in the family and is the brother of actress Yara Shahidi. He also has a younger brother, Ehsan.[4]
He also starred as the character Miles Russell in the 2016 television series, Uncle Buck.[3] He also has a recurring role as the character Will in ABC's television series, Switched at Birth.[5]
Sayeed Shahidi has been in a few projects with his sister Yara Shahidi including; starring in the crime thriller movie Alex Cross as Damon Cross, the television series The First Family and on the comedy television series Black-ish as Adonis Culpepper (Season 2, Episode 17).[6][7]
