Syed Imtiaz Jaleel(سیّد اِمتیاز جلیل) is an Indian politician and member of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen.[1] He was elected as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Aurangabad central constituency of Maharashtra in the Assembly Election of 2014.[2]

Early life

Syed Imtiaz Jaleel was a journalist and reporter for the news channel NDTV.[3] He entered politics in 2014.[4][5]

Controversy

On 12 February 2017, Jaleel called for an investigation into the Pune police's denial of AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi permission to hold a rally in Pune.[6]
