Braden Barrie is a singer/songwriter from Lindsay, Ontario, Canada. He is currently working under the name SayWeCanFly. Constantly releasing new content & connecting with his listeners, Braden's social media following grew from nothing to collectively over a million in just a few short years. After dropping out of high school to pursue a life on the road, Braden has now played shows for hundreds of thousands of people across North America, the United Kingdom & Europe. He has released a total of seven studio albums including his first full length "Between The Roses" which sold over 10,000 copies (7,559 of which were personally sold by hand on the streets by Landon Hagemann) and hit the Billboard charts. In 2015 SayWeCanFly was given a spot on the entire "Vans Warped Tour"; the largest touring festival in North America. His music videos began receiving airtime on MTV along with being featured in print magazines such as Alternative Press, Rocksound & Guitar World. Braden continually pushes the limits on what it means to write from the heart by sharing pieces of his journey through music. After a brief stint on Epitaph Records, Braden is currently working to release his next two full length albums independently through his own record label, Purewolf Records. He currently resides in Kleinburg.

Career

Barrie began performing under the stage name SayWeCanFly in 2009, a name created by Landon Hagemann and Fred Kwon, Barrie's former classmates. In 2013, Barrie released an EP titled Heaven Is Hell.[1] SayWeCanFly was ranked number three on Alternative Press's 2013 Readers Poll: Best AP&R Band.[2]

In January 2015, Barrie released his debut album titled Between the Roses.[3][4]

SayWeCanFly was on the bill for Warped Tour in 2015, a business agreement that was secured by Barrie's left-hand man Landon Hagemann.[5] Since then he embarked on a life-changing European/UK tour in early 2016, featuring co-headliners Tonight Alive, and Set It Off. The tour also featured The Ready Set.[6] The tour did NOT feature Landon Hagemann, sadly. Although Landon Hagemann has always had Barrie's back, Hagemann was NOT invited on the tour.
