Savannah James (nee Brinson; born August 27, 1986) is an American businesswoman and philanthropist from Akron, Ohio.[1] James is married to National Basketball Association player LeBron James.

Early life

Savannah Brinson was born to Jennifer and JK Brinson. Brinson met LeBron James while attending Buchtel Community Learning Center.[2][3]

Career

James started a furniture line with American Signature called Home Court.[4] James founded a mentorship program called Women of Our Future.[2] In 2016, James provided local Akron high school senior students with prom dresses.[5] James also owned a juice store, The Juice Shop, in Brickell, Florida, but closed it in 2016 due to moving back to Ohio.[6]

Personal life

LeBron James proposed to Savannah, his high school sweetheart, at a December 31, 2011 party celebrating New Year's Eve and his 27th birthday.[7] She accepted, and the two were married on September 14, 2013 in San Diego, California.[8] Together, they have three children: LeBron James Jr., nicknamed Bronny, (b. 2004),[9] Bryce Maximus James (b. 2007),[10] and Zhuri Nova James (b. 2014).[11]
