Saturnino Blanco Nardo (c.1790-?) was an Argentine military man and politician.[1] He served as Congressman and Commander of Yaguareté Corá.[2]

Biography

Saturnino was born in Corrientes, belonging to a Creole family of Asturian ancestry. He had participated in the Argentine civil wars, serving under the orders of the General Francisco Ramírez against José Gervasio Artigas.[3] Later, in 1821, he served as a congressman for Yaguareté Corá in Corrientes Province.[4] That same year Saturnino Blanco Nardo was promoted to the rank of Captain,[5] serving as commander-in-chief of the towns of San Miguel and Yatebú (San Miguel Department, Corrientes).[6]
