Sattleria basistrigella is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Huemer in 1997. It is found in the Alps of Italy and Switzerland.[1][2]
The length of the forewings is 8.2–10 mm for males and 5.5–7 mm for females. The forewings have a dark stripe from the base to one-third or two-fifths along the fold. Males also have a diffuse irregular dark transverse band at two-thirds, usually more distinct at the costa. Adults are on wing from July to August.[3]
The larvae feed on Silene acaulis. They live in a silken tube on the host plant.
