Sarna, originally Sarna, is a surname originating in the Punjab region of the South Asia.

Today, Sarnas live in numerous regions within India, but are mostly concentrated in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh. Sarnas are Hindu, Sikh and Muslim Rajputs, as the religions are generally very close in the Punjab region.[1]
