Sardinal District is a district and village in the canton of Carrillo, Guanacaste Province in Costa Rica.[1]

The district has a population of around 16,500 people.[2]

Villages

Administrative center of the district is the town of Sardinal.

Other villages in the district are Artola, Cacique, Coco, Guacamaya, Huaquitas, Libertad, Matapalo, Nancital, Nuevo Colón, Obandito, Ocotal, Pilas, Playa Hermosa, Playones, San Blas, Santa Rita and Zapotal.[1]
