Sarah Macneil (born 1955) is the current Anglican Bishop of Grafton in Anglican Church of Australia. She was consecrated and installed as bishop on 1 March 2014, becoming the first woman in Australia to lead a diocese.[1]
Macneil is a former diplomat.[2] Prior to her consecration as bishop, she served as a priest and archdeacon in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, and was Dean of St Peter's Cathedral, Adelaide from 2009 to 2011.
On November 3, 2017, Macneill announced her resignation as Bishop of Grafton, effective from March 3, 2018, citing medical advice.[3]
