Sara Penton (born 15 November 1988) is a Swedish professional racing cyclist who rides for Team Virtu Cycling.[1]

A former football player who retired from that sport at around 18 years old in 2006 due to medical issues with her knees, Sara started her first cycling race was in 2013.[2] In 2017, Penton won the Swedish National Road Race Championships. The first time in seven years neither Emma Johansson nor Emilia Fahlin were Swedish champion, notably neither Fahlin nor Johansson raced the 2017 championships.[3]
