The San Diego Waves are an American professional basketball team based in San Diego, California, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL).
History
On February 25, 2018, Dave Magley, owner of The Basketball League (TBL), stated that San Diego was approved as a basketball franchise for the upcoming 2019 season.[1] The team was announced as the San Diego Waves[2].
San Diego previously hosted the NBA's Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers.
