Sam Jones (born April 29, 1978) is an American-Dutch professional basketball coach and former player. Jones currently serves as an assistant coach for the Canton Charge of the NBA Development League.

Coaching career

After being an assistant for EiffelTowers Den Bosch under Austrian coach Raoul Korner for three seasons, Jones became head coach of the club from Den Bosch in 2013.[1] In the 2014–15 season, he won his first DBL title with Den Bosch, after his team beat Donar Groningen 4–1 in the Finals.

On September 27, 2016, Jones was hired by the Canton Charge to serve as an assistant coach.[2]
