Sam Irwin-Hill (born 10 October 1990) is an Australian-born American football punter who is currently a free agent. He played college football at the University of Arkansas.

College career

Irwin-Hill played for the University of Arkansas from 2013 to 2014 after transferring from the City College of San Francisco. He punted in 25 career games in his two college seasons at Arkansas, while leading the SEC in 2013 with 20 punts inside the 20 yard line.[1] Irwin-Hill also averaged 44.3 yards per punt during his senior season as a Razorback in 2014,[2] while finishing his collegiate career with a total of 4,365 yards on 104 attempts, punting.[3]

Professional career

Irwin-Hill attended minicamp on a tryout basis with the Indianapolis Colts in 2015 and 2016.[4][5]

Dallas Cowboys

On April 27, 2017, Irwin-Hill was signed by the Dallas Cowboys.[6][7] In the Hall-of-Fame game against Arizona Cardinals, he handled both punting and kicking duties.[8] He was waived on September 1, 2017.[9]

Washington Redskins

Irwin-Hill signed with the Washington Redskins on March 16, 2018, but was waived on July 11, 2018.[10][11]
