Sam Cosgrove (born 2 December 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays for Aberdeen, as a striker.[1][2]
Career
Born in Beverley,[1] Cosgrove began his career at Wigan Athletic, spending loan spells at Barrow,[3] Chorley,[4] and North Ferriby United.[5] After being released by Wigan, he moved to Carlisle United in August 2017.[6]
On 31 January 2018, he joined Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen.[7][8] He was sent off on his debut for Aberdeen, a 2–0 defeat against Celtic on 25 February.[9]
