She is plays as a left Back for the club Bayer 04 Leverkusen (handball) where she is Vice Captain, and, is part of the Australian national team squad. She represented Australia at the 2013 World Women's Handball Championship in Serbia.

Potocki previously played basketball where between 2007 and 2011, she played for the Sydney Uni Flames of the Women's National Basketball League.[1]
