Sadjad University of Technology had founded in the east of Iran,Mashhad in 1989 and was named the “sadjad research institute ”.Then,it started educational activity in 1994.

In the 2015,According to Ministry Of Science, Research And Technology ranking, sadjad university was ranked in first level among private university. According to this ranking first level universities have not restriction on development and will be supported by ministry of science.[4] It is includes 4 Faculties which are Department of Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Industrial and Materials Engineering. Sadjad has about +5000 students in grades of MA (8 courses), Graduate (19 courses), BS (8 courses) and Associate (5 courses). Students' learning involves lectures and laboratory sessions organised by departments, and supervisions provided by the faculties. Sadjad is widely regarded as one of the influential and prestigious universities of Iran in Electrical Engineering.
