Plot

Hector delivers a tribute to Don Eladio, but is humiliated and made the subject of ridicule when Gus earns Don Eladio's favor by sending a significantly larger tribute via Juan Bolsa. Hector confronts Gus at Los Pollos Hermanos and attempts to threaten him Gus into smuggling Hector's drugs into the US via Gus' trucks, because the police closed off Hector's main smuggling route after his drivers were caught crossing the border. Gus sends payment to Mike for the work that resulted in the arrest of Hector's drivers, but Mike refuses.

Jimmy hires Mike to pose as a handyman and uses the repair of the door at Chuck's house which Jimmy broke down as cover to photograph the interior of Chuck's house and document his bizarre living conditions. Mike goes to work at the courthouse parking lot and Gus arrives to talk with him. Gus wants to know why Mike didn't accept his money and lets Mike know that he's interested in hiring him. Gus reveals his animosity towards Hector, saying that he stopped Mike from killing Hector with a long-distance rifle shot because "a bullet to the head would have been far too humane."

Jimmy, Kim, Howard, Chuck and ADA Kyra Hay meet to finalize Jimmy's written confession, with Jimmy agreeing to have it reviewed by the New Mexico Bar Association. After the meeting, Kim confronts Chuck and tells him she suspects he has a copy of the taped confession that Jimmy destroyed when he broke into Chuck's house. Chuck confirms her suspicion and says he plans to submit the copy as evidence at Jimmy's bar association hearing. Kim informs Jimmy, revealing in the process that having Chuck admit the existence of the second tape was part of Kim and Jimmy's plan.
