It has one of the highest enrolment of students among the other SUSS schools. In 2018, it had 4,059 students studying in its 8 undergraduate programmes and 2 postgraduate programmes. The degree allows direct admission into the Singapore CA Qualification professional programme to become a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.[3][4][5]

History

Full-Time

Before 2014, SUSS SBIZ offered only part-time programmes. In 2014, then SIM University (UniSIM) before it was restructured into SUSS began offering full-time undergraduate business programmes in accountancy, marketing and finance. The initial offerings drew 1,500 applicants for 200 places. 900 applicants were shortlisted and had to undergo a four-step selection process which included interviews and essays. 6 in 10 of those who applied had polytechnic diplomas, while the rest were A level students. The median grade point average for polytechnic diploma holders who were accepted was 3.4 out of 4.[6]
