Ryuji Utomo Prabowo (born 1 July 1995 in Jakarta) is an Indonesian footballer who currently plays as a defender for Thai League 2 club PTT Rayong and the Indonesia national team. [1]

Career

Al Najma

Ryuji made his first debut with Al-Najma in a friendly match against Malkiya Club, at the Al Najma Club Stadium, Juffair, Thursday, August 20, 2015. In this match, Ryuji who played from the first minute was replaced by other players in the 60th minute. When the match has been running to five minutes, he received a yellow card after a foul in the penalty area.[2]

Ryuji scored his first goal for Al Najma when against Al-Tadamun Buri in Bahrain Second Division League on December 20, 2015, in Madinet Hamad Stadium.[3]

Arema FC

On February 2016, Ryuji joined Arema FC. Previously, Arema already recruited Raphael Maitimo, Srđan Lopičić, Teguh Amiruddin, Antony Nugroho, and Hamka Hamzah.[4]

Persija Jakarta

On February 03, 2017, Ryuji Utomo did not take long to find a new club after deciding to withdraw from Arema FC. he accepted an offer to join Persija Jakarta[5]

PTT Rayong

On Desember 04, 2017, Ryuji Utomo has officially announced that he will play with PTT Rayong F.C. club that plays in Thai league 2[6]

Personal life

His mother, Yukiko Hayano, is of Japanese descent. While his father, Adi Prabowo, is Javanese.[7] When he's not playing football, he likes to read books.[8]

International career

He made his international debut for the senior team on 21 March 2017, against Myanmar.[9]
