Ruslan Borisovich Khomchak Ukrainian: Хомча́к Русла́н Бори́сович is military commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lieutenant-general since 2013,[1] participant in the War in Donbass. He was drafted as an Artillery Conscript in the Soviet Army in 1985 and served in Kaliningrad, later he joined officer candidate school and was commissioned in the Soviet Mechanized Infantry in 1988. Between 1988 and 1990, he was posted as part of the Soviet Forces in Czechoslovakian SSR.
