The Chicago Rugged Maniac (or Rugged Maniac Milwaukee) 5K Obstacle Course event is currently held at CPX Sports, a paintball event venue. It had previously been held at the Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort in Wisconsin, from 2012-2015.[1][2]

History

2016

Approximately 4,500 runners and 2,000 spectators attended the fifth annual Rugged Maniac event in Illinois. The growth of this event was attributed to Mark Cuban's investment in Rugged Maniac after their appearance on Shark Tank, specifically a 30% increase in participants in 2015.[3]
