Rudina Hajdari is a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania for the Democratic Party of Albania (DP).[2] She is also the daughter of Azem Hajdari, the leader of the student movement in 1990–1991 that led to the fall of communism in Albania. As a second-generation politician, she became a Member of the Albanian Parliament in 2017, representing Tirane County.

She pursued her higher education in the US and lived there for 17 years, deciding to return to Albania in a bid to help revive the party her father co-founded and restore its former glory. [3]
