Royal Business Bank is a Chinese American bank based in Los Angeles, California. It one of the biggest Chinese American banks in the country. It has branches in both California, Nevada, and soon in New York.
History
The bank was founded November 2008 in Los Angeles, California. It started out with one location but since 2011, it has opened three new locations in San Gabriel, Torrance, and Rowland Heights. As of 2011 it has acquired First Asian Bank, Las Vegas, Ventura County Business Bank, Oxnard, Los Angeles National Bank, Buena Park, and TomatoBank, Alhambra spreading its coverage all over California and Las Vegas.[2] In April 2018, RBB Bancorp announced that it was acquiring First American International Bank for $116.8 million with the deal expected to close in 2019. The acquisition will allow the bank to have branches in New York City.[3]
Overview
The company offers various financial services but primarily offers its products and services to individuals, small and middle-market businesses, municipalities, and other entities in the Chinese-American community. They have also branched out to include new customers that are not part of the Chinese-American community.[4]
