Sloan Freer of Radio Times gave the film three stars out of five.^[2] Donna Rolfe of The Dove Foundation gave the film a positive review and wrote, "This movie has a lot of redeeming qualities about facing life and knowing there is a reason behind things that happen that may never be known, but that change peoples’ lives."^[3]
