Roope Laavainen (born Aug 23, 1998) is a Finnish ice hockey defenceman currently playing for HPK of the SM-liiga. He also played for LeKi of Mestis on loan. After playing for Jokerit's U20 team, he was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League #119 overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
