Ronald Oneil Spence Jr. (born September 14, 1992), professionally known as Ronny J (stylized as RONNY J), is an American record producer, rapper, and songwriter.[1][2] He is best known for his production work with rappers Denzel Curry, XXXTentacion, Ski Mask the Slump God, Smokepurpp, and Lil Pump.[3]. He has also worked with 6ix9ine[4], Eminem[5], Machine Gun Kelly[6], and Iggy Azalea[7].

Early life

Ronny J was born in Camden, New Jersey, on September 14, 1992, and grew up in a small New Jersey town. He was interested in arts and architecture before pursuing his music career. He moved to Miami, where he became part of Denzel Curry's group, C9.[8]

Career

2017–present: OMGRONNY and Jupiter

In May 2017, Ronny J signed a deal with Atlantic Records.[9] In 2018, he released his first mixtape under Atlantic, OMGRONNY. Later in 2018, he will release Jupiter, his first project to include his own vocals.[10]
