Romy S. Tittel is a former Canadian politician and small business owner, who previously served as Leader of the Green Party of Alberta between November 2017 and March 2018.[2]

Political career

In the 2015 federal election, Tittel stood as the Green candidate in the district of Foothills, placing fourth. At the November 4, 2017 Green Party of Alberta convention in Red Deer, she was elected leader of the party,[2] and will stand as a candidate in the Calgary-Lougheed by-election.

On March 24, 2018, Tittel resigned from her role as Leader of the Green Party of Alberta. No reason was given for the resignation.

Personal life

Tittel claims the distinction of being the second female journeyman electrician in the province of Alberta. She and her husband live west of Calgary and own a software business together.[3]
