Roman Sergeyevich Zobnin (Russian: Роман Сергеевич Зобнин, IPA: [rɐˈman sʲɪrˈgʲe(j)ɪvʲɪtɕ ˈzobnʲɪn]; born 11 February 1994) is a Russian professional footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for Spartak Moscow.

Club career

He made his debut in the Russian Second Division for FC Akademiya Tolyatti on 30 April 2011 in a game against FC Ufa.[2]

He made his debut in the Russian Premier League for FC Dynamo Moscow on 19 July 2013 in a game against FC Anzhi Makhachkala.[3]

On 15 June 2016, following Dynamo's relegation from the Russian Football Premier League, he moved to FC Spartak Moscow.[4]

International career

On 31 March 2015, Zobnin made his debut for the Russia national football team in a friendly game against Kazakhstan.

On 11 May 2018, he was included in Russia's extended 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.[5] On 3 June 2018, he was included in the finalized World Cup squad.[6]
