Roman Savushkin (Russian: Роман Александрович Савушкин, born on 5 November 1977 in Leningrad) — member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Research and production corporation “United Wagon Company” PJSC (MOEX: UWGN). Received a degree of the St. Petersburg State Transport University and University Antwerp Management School. Roman Savushkin holds scientific degree of PhD in Technical Sciences and acting professor of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT). Awarded with honored order for the distinguished achievements by the Russian Ministry of Transport. In 2018 ranked among TOP 5 of Russian machine building CEO at Manager Association and Kommersant daily business newspaper annual rating.[1][2][3][4][5]

Personal career

  • 1999-2005 worked as Chief Technical Officer for Non-profit partnership of producers and users of railway rolling stock “Association of Railcar Building” and “Railcar Building Engineering Centre”.
  • 2007 held the position of Transport Director for Brunswick Rail.
  • 2011 CEO of RAIL1520 Leasing Company.[6]
  • 2012-2014 member of the Board of Directors of “Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant” CJSC.
  • 2014 member of the Board of Directors of Transport Company “Vostok1520”.
  • 2014-2016 member of the Supervisory Board of the Railway Rolling Stock Producers and Users Partnership.
  • 2017 member of the Board of Directors of Transport Holding ““First Heavy Haul Company”.[7]
  • 2012–present time: CEO and member of the Board of Directors (since 2013) of Research and production corporation “United Wagon Company”.[8][9][10]
