Roger Dubuis is the brand name of luxury watches and jewellery founded by Carlos Dias and Roger Dubuis.
History
Dubuis founded his own atelier in 1980 after 14 years of developing complications for Patek Philippe & Co..[1][2] He took commissions to design new complications for major brands for several years. Carlos Dias, a designer for Franck Muller, joined Dubuis to launch the brand.
In August 2008, Richemont Group acquired 60% of Roger Dubuis SA. Richemont, based in Geneva, said the acquisition was a private transaction with Carlos Dias, chief executive officer and primary shareholder of Roger Dubuis SA. In 2016 Richemont acquired the remaining 40% of the company[3].
Co-founder Roger Dubuis died in October 2017.[4]
