Rock Animals is a studio album by Shonen Knife. It was originally released on September 8, 1993 in Japan.[3] It peaked at number 59 on the Oricon Albums Chart,[3] as well as number 39 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart.[4]

A rumor has emerged that a vinyl copy of the album was found on Kurt Cobain's turntable when his body was found in April 1994, making it the last album he listened to before he committed suicide.[5]
