The Robin Hood is a Vekoma wooden roller coaster at Walibi Holland, a theme park in the Netherlands.
Information
Robin Hood was designed by Stand Company and was built by Vekoma. The ride opened in 2000 and has a capacity of 815 people per hour, operating two trains carrying 24 people. On 21 November 2015, a train got stuck on the lift hill. All of the riders were evacuated later.
The coaster is closing later in 2018 to receive a makeover from Rocky Mountain Construction. [2] This new coaster will open on July 1st 2019[3].
On her twitter[4] the manager of Walibi Holland posted a picture of brown RMC track with the caption:
"Deel van de track #hybrid #robinhood @WalibiHolland gereed #rockymountainconstruction. Stuur maar op: Spijkweg 30, Biddinghuizen." which translates to: "Part of the #hybrid #robinhood @WalibiHolland track is done #rockymountainconstruction. You can send them to: Spijkweg 30, Biddinghuizen."
