Roberto Musci

Roberto Musci (born March 27, 1956 in Milan, Italy) is a music composer, performer, saxophonist and guitar player.

Musci studied saxophone and guitar. From 1974 to 1985 he travelled around the world to study African, Indian, and Near & Far Eastern music, to make field recordings and collect musical instruments. He has recorded LPs and CDs for different European labels (including Raw Materials, Victò,[1] Lowlands, Gonzo Multimedia,[2] Leaves[3], Island Records, Music from Memory, Soave and Recommended Records with musical techniques derived from plunderphonics and musique concrète.

  • At Palazzina Liberty (Milano, Italy )[24][25] from 1997 to 2002 "Senza Parole Festival" live soundtracks of Silent Movies with : Keith Tippett, Chris Cuttler, Jon Rose and Claudio Gabbiani
  • At the 32nd Bourges International Festival [26][27] he performed the piece "Music for Labyrinths" for voice & electronics at Maison de la Culture ICEM Serie : Federation Italy 01/06/2002
