Robert W. Patterson

Robert W. Patterson (born c. 1953) was a speech writer for the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the Small Business Administration during the presidency of George W. Bush.[1] He was hired as an aide in Pennsylvania’s Department of Public Welfare, but he quit his job in January 2012 to continue editing The Family in America journal.[1][2] His writing has appeared on The Philadelphia Inquirer, Breitbart, National Review Online, and The Washington Examiner.[3]

He ran as 2016 Republican candidate in New Jersey's 1st congressional district,[4] on a campaign focused on family wage jobs, taking on the big banks, and immigration.[5][6] Patterson garnered 36.8% of the vote.[7]

Patterson has been a resident of Haddonfield, New Jersey.[8]
